The Axemen Lacrosse Club wants participation in team sports to be fun for all and needs support from both parents and players to achieve this goal. A level lacrosse is the highest level of play available, similar to Quadrant (AA, AAA) Hockey, and requires a similar level of commitment.
All players and parents participating in the "A" programs must understand and adhere to our club’s expectations.
Should you and your child wish to participate at the "A" level, you will need to read this agreement and sign at the bottom of the page.
Players without a signed agreement will not be eligible for placement on an A level team regardless of evaluation performance.
EXPECTATIONS:
•Expect player to attend all practices and be on time as practicable
•Expect player to attend all games and be on time as practicable.
•Expect player to attend at least 85% of additional practices and games
•Expect players to participate in tournaments as practicable (if chosen by the team)
•Expect players to participate in Provincials in July
If you are unable to make a practice or game, the player will need to contact the coach well in advance with reasons for absence. Head Coaches will be able to make judgments as to the nature of the absence.
Players that do not adhere to these expectations can expect Coach's discretionary adjustments to playing time, roles, favouring those that are committed as above.
