Axemen Junior
Junior Men is the age group for players that are 17 to 21 years old. When players reach Junior, they move from minor lacrosse to major lacrosse.

The Junior Men program is administered by the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League (RMLL)
You must register with Intent to Play with the RMLL as well as registering with Axemen Lacrosse Club.
Information Sessions for all first-year Junior players (Graduating U17 players). At these sessions the RMLL presents an overview of Major Lacrosse in Alberta and the various RMLL Divisions of Junior lacrosse. Representatives of each team in the Junior Divisions attend and provide information on their specific Programs.

Date: Saturday, February 3, 2024
Time: 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM
Location: Scotiabank Saddledome, Calgary
Cost: $60 and includes a ticket to the Roughnecks/Toronto Rock game at 7:00 PM.
Who: Graduating U17 players from CALL, CDLA, and SALA Minor Lacrosse Clubs as well as Tier II players from Tier II teams located in the CALL, CDLA and SALA areas.

Darrel Knight - Head Coach
Darrel began coaching lacrosse with the Axemen in 2014 as an Assistant Coach in U11, continuing as either a Head Coach or an Assistant through U17.
Was an Assistant Coach for Zone 3, Team Calgary who took gold at the 2018 Alberta Summer Games in Grande Prairie.
Selected by the Indigenous Sport Council of Alberta (ISCA) as Head Coach for the U16 Men’s team for the 2020 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) and again for the 2023 NAIG as Head Coach for the U19 NAIG Team Alberta Men’s Lacrosse.
Entering my 2nd year as the Head Coach for the Axemen Jr. Lacrosse Team where team goals are measured by more then just wins and losses. I strive to find success for every athlete/young adult that plays for me, giving them every opportunity to advance to the level of lacrosse they desire to reach.
